Insight Society: A Psychotherapy Group For Women

Insight Society is an 10-week mindfulness-based, group psychotherapy practice. The group structure allows you to gain insight into your relational, behavioral, and cognitive patterns, which often contribute to the challenges of daily life.
One of the key benefits of group psychotherapy is its ability to promote self-awareness, emotional expression, and interpersonal growth. The group will begin by emphasizing creating a safe and supportive atmosphere and evolve to a place where the yoga practice, combined with specific structured prompts, will foster trust and authenticity among participants.
Each session will begin with a 30-minute non-heated vinyasa practice followed by 60 minutes of group psychotherapy.
Weekly Yoga Classes
I found my way to this practice after having just walked away from four years of competing in NCAA athletics. The physical component of yoga brought me to my first class. The mental and emotional freedom it continues to offer is what fuels my constant return.
My classes blend strength, athleticism, and mindfulness into a rhythmic flow to help individuals process and attune to their bodies. I understand yoga as a collection of brief, effort-filled moments that, when gathered together, create a complete, steady, and powerful flow.
You can expect emphasis on a beginning meditation, sun salutations, a dynamic sequence, and continuous breath within each class.
